Aml Policies

Scope and Purpose

Slot365 maintains this Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy to prevent the use of the platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activity. The policy applies to all customers and transactions on the Slot365 platform, governs all processing of personal data and transaction data for compliance with applicable AML laws, and supports ongoing risk management of the business.

Definitions

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML): measures to detect and prevent money laundering and related financial crime.
  • Know Your Customer (KYC): identification and verification of customers to establish identity and risk profile.
  • Sanctions and Adverse Media Screening: checks against official sanctions lists and credible adverse information related to a person or entity.
  • Politically Exposed Person (PEP): an individual with prominent public functions or related persons requiring enhanced due diligence.
  • Source of Funds (SOF) and Source of Wealth (SOW): the origin of funds used for transactions and the customer’s overall wealth.
  • Beneficial Owner: natural person who ultimately owns or controls a customer or the customer’s funds.

Regulatory Status and Compliance Framework

Slot365 operates under a gaming license and is subject to ongoing AML compliance requirements. A dedicated Compliance Department oversees the program, with regular audits, independent testing, and reporting to the regulatory authority. The policy aligns with applicable local and international AML laws and regulatory expectations.

KYC and Identity Verification

When opening an account, the customer must provide accurate information and submit documents sufficient to verify identity and address. Acceptable documents include one of the following: a passport, a national identity card, or a driver’s license. For address verification, a recent utility bill or bank statement may be required. For payment methods, the first six and last four digits of a card may be provided for verification, with the card’s CVV kept hidden. All documents must be clean, legible, and free from obstructions.

  • Timeline: we will review submitted documentation promptly and aim to complete verification within 24 hours of receipt; in complex cases or where additional information is required, verification may take up to seven days.
  • Verification scope: identity and address checks, with ongoing monitoring and periodic re-verification as required by risk status.
  • Enhanced due diligence: customers identified as higher risk will undergo additional verification steps and ongoing monitoring.

Age Verification

Slot365 only provides services to customers who are at least 18 years old. Age verification is performed as part of the KYC process. If a customer is found to be under the minimum age, account opening will be rejected or existing access suspended and funds handled in accordance with legal requirements.

Source of Funds and Source of Wealth

Customers must provide information confirming the source of funds used for deposits and, where appropriate, the source of wealth. For deposits above the defined threshold or when risk indicators are present, documentation such as bank statements, payslips, or other credible evidence may be requested. All SOF/SOW information collected is used solely for AML purposes and is processed in accordance with data protection laws.

Risk-Based Customer Classification

We apply a risk-based approach and classify customers into low, standard, or enhanced risk categories based on factors including geography, product usage, and transaction patterns. Low-risk customers are subject to standard ongoing monitoring; higher risk customers receive enhanced due diligence, more frequent reviews, and potential limit controls.

Ongoing Monitoring and Review

Slot365 conducts ongoing transaction monitoring to detect suspicious patterns. Activity is analyzed in real time and reviewed by the Compliance team. Customer profiles are updated as new information becomes available or when the customer’s risk status changes.

Transaction Monitoring and Reporting

We monitor deposits, withdrawals, and transfers for AML risk. A single transaction exceeding two thousand euros or its equivalent may trigger enhanced review. Suspicious activity, or any transaction that appears to circumvent controls, must be reported to the competent regulatory or law enforcement authority as a Suspicious Activity Report in accordance with applicable law. All AML records and related documentation are retained for eight years after the end of the customer relationship or last activity.

Sanctions, PEPs and Adverse Media

We screen customers and counterparties against sanctions lists and assess PEP status. If a customer is identified as a PEP or shows adverse media indicators, the case is escalated for enhanced due diligence and ongoing monitoring as required by law and policy.

Data Retention, Privacy, and Disclosure

Personal data collected for AML purposes is retained in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Slot365 maintains records of identity, transaction history, and compliance actions for eight years. Personal data may be shared with regulators, law enforcement, payment service providers, and other entities as required by law or for AML purposes, subject to appropriate data protection safeguards.

Recordkeeping and Audit

All AML records including KYC documentation, risk assessments, and transaction monitoring logs are retained for at least eight years and are accessible to internal auditors and regulatory authorities as required by law.

Training and Governance

Slot365 maintains an AML program overseen by a dedicated compliance function. All staff receive ongoing AML/CTF training, at least annually, and the program undergoes periodic independent testing and annual review by the Board or its compliance committee.

Policy Updates and Effective Date

This AML policy is effective as of the date displayed on Slot365’s terms and is subject to updates in response to changes in legislation, regulation, or regulatory guidance. When material changes are made, existing customers will be given at least two weeks' notice and may choose to discontinue using the services during the notice period without penalty.

Questions regarding AML and KYC requirements should be directed to Slot365 Compliance through the secure in-site messaging system. For reporting concerns or to submit information relevant to AML investigations, customers may use the same secure channel. All communications are treated confidentially and handled in accordance with applicable laws.
